CoughFee?

Is Coffee Bad for you ?

When it comes to coffee, there's always an issue aroused by researchers about the bad side of having it.

For years, doctors warned people to avoid coffee because it might increase the risk of heart disease and stunt growth. They worried that people could become addicted to the energy that high amounts of caffeine provided, leading them to crave more and more coffee as they became tolerant to higher amounts of caffeine. Experts also worried that coffee had damaging effects on the digestive tract, which could lead to stomach ulcers, heartburn and other ills.

But it turns out that coffee wasn't really to blame. Those studies didn’t always control for the many other factors that could account for poor health, such as smoking, drinking and a lack of physical activity. If people who drank a lot of coffee also happened to have some other unhealthy habits, then it’s not clear that coffee is responsible for their heart problems or higher mortality.

As a conclusion, I would say that coffee is not bad for you this is because after all you're not consuming like a gallon of water. According to scientifical facts and logic, 2 to 3 cup of coffee for a day will not affect your health and will not even hurt you. In contrast, coffee will acts as an energy booster for the day and also helps with rapid fat burning process.

Whaddaya Say Atkins ?

The famous Atkins diet have been tingling around up until now but some of us have a really small knowledge what is the truth about Atkins, some of us also believed that Atkins is like eating steak and eggs ONLY !? While you're in the Atkins phase you tend to take everything's protein and fats and never look into your carbohydrate intake without realizing the high or low fats intake of what you eat.

The equation is simple for Atkins
Protein + Fats - Carbohydrate = Atkins Diet

People who have been in Atkins usually fill up their plates with meat, cheese, high fat meat, mayonnaise and etc (protein and fats). The more the merrier!

The theory behind the high intake of protein and fats is because both of this tend to makes you "full", so you will not feel that hungry and will not take more caloric intake and then you will be able to see the changes in your body. This is also due to you not taking any carbohydrate, you will have a greater chance to stay in the 'fat-burning mode'.
*if the intake of carbohydrate is really high it will cause the raise up of insulin level in your body, thus causing the fat burning mode to slow down*

BUT ! Do bear in mind that your protein and fats intake must be in controlled amount. Some issues aroused when it comes to Atkins like high blood pressure, heart disease and heart attack and this is because you are not monitoring your protein and fats intake which may be what are you taking are all saturated fats thus ruining your diet and also your body.

As a matter of fact Tempe is also renowned in Malaysia and really popular in Klang valley as many Indonesian had introduced this food to them. Some variation of tempe have the mixture of different kind of beans and cereals too.

The aftermath of Banana

Nobody can deny our love for banana. Despite being in love with banana there are certain facts that banana can do for you. People says that you are what you eat so you should really know what kind of food that you are eating.

Today I will be sharing about the nutritional facts of banana. To begin with, I would say that you can be real good if you begin your day with a banana. This is because after waking up from a long sleep (a night sleep is a form of fasting too) the rate of muscle glycogen in our body will drop.

An expert in diet Matthew Kadey from MuscleMag said that, by eating a banana in the early morning as a breakfast this will cause your glycogen stores in your body boost up and avoid any muscle breakdown from occuring.

Glycogen is a main source of energy for our body, and it provides an all time prevention from breaking down protein in the muscle tissue as a replacement if your glycogen stores is low.

-Increasing Caloric Intake-
For your information, in muscle building, you have to eat more than you burn( of course good calories), because good calories will help enhancing body and muscle building. A banana contain around 121kcal. Banana is really easy to eat and it is also can be added into your smoothies or shake and etc.

-Additional Potassium-
You should be aware of your vitamins and minerals intake too! A medium-sized banana contained around 10% of daily potassium intake of your body. It also plays a big role in the process of muscle contraction.
A research from Linus Pauling Institute proved that low potassium intake may cause muscle stretch, fatigue and slow muscle development.

-A perfect post-workout-

Banana is a good source of carbohydrate as each of it contained around 31gram for a large-sized. Carbohydrate plays a crucial role to eat after your workout as it will increase glycogen rate and helps the merge of protein in your muscle tissue.
As a closure, "The Australian Institute of Sport" suggest that about 1 gram of carbohydrate for a kg of body. As a suggestion, a banana would be a good pair with red meat, protein shake or skim milk for an overall muscle growth development.

Why I Start ?

Youth

I would like to begin with a beautiful quote from J.K. Rowling as she said

"Youth cannot know how age thinks and feels.
But old men are guilty if they forget what it was to be young"

I am not that old, 19 years old guy weighing 89kg, I've always been thinking over and over again is it wrong for a small change? TOTALLY NOT. This is the age where people get along, get to know each other and livin their life to the fullest.

I am not sayin that being BIG is an obstacle to enjoy this age, but somehow the reality makes me feels like I really have to change as the Human Growth Hormone(HGH) is also known as the 'Fountain of Youth' had driven me to make a shift towards a better life.

Occupation

Everybody has their own dream occupation, as for me I wanna be a Government Officer in the future, well I do have a second plan which is GOING WITH THE FLOW choice. I realized that to achieve my dream I do have to lose weight and undergoes a proper training for myself.

As the requirement for the occupation is to be real 'FIT', well-educated and good with their words. Well, I was quite taken aback because I'm not that FIT and this is also the reason being that had triggered me to make a turn in my life.

Future

Last but not least, I would like to remind all of you that our future is created by ourselves.
The future is created today, you are the one who's going to shape your own future. As me I believe that in life there will always be a turning point. When that occurs it is you who decide to stay the same or make an unbelievable paradigm shift for a life-changing moment for yourself.

A big thanks for those who read this, with love, Yassir. Everything is possible !
